Help shape the first community pilot.

A proposed neighborhood pilot in Lapu-Lapu City, shaped by residents, community teams, hosts, and local businesses.

We welcome conversations with residents, community teams, prospective host locations, and local businesses interested in helping us test useful neighborhood technology.

In development for staged community pilots in Lapu-Lapu City. Expressing interest begins a conversation; it is separate from confirmed acceptance.

Why participate?

Help shape technology around your neighborhood’s real needs—from simpler household requests to clearer community announcements.

Participants could:

Our proposed learning process is Listen → Agree on useful tasks → Test → Review results → Improve. Residents and operators would help shape each step, with scope and responsibilities agreed before testing.

Who could participate

Residents who want simpler access to everyday essentials; community teams who handle local requests; prospective hosts with suitable spaces; and merchants or service providers interested in neighborhood workflows.

What the initial pilot is intended to test

Our proposed approach is to:

  1. Begin with a small, defined community setting.
  2. Test suitable HomeSafe-to-ResponderLink requests and announcements.
  3. Evaluate usability, message delivery, acknowledgment, power/connectivity behavior, and support requirements.
  4. Explore selected ShoGO transactions after the basic coordination workflow is dependable.
  5. Expand only after technical and operating evidence supports it.

Sending, receiving, acknowledgment, and fulfillment are separate stages. Measuring acknowledgment time will help us understand coordination; it will not establish an assistance arrival time. Supported tasks and responsibilities would be agreed before testing.

What participants could contribute

What participation might involve

Depending on the agreed role, participation could involve a needs conversation, a site assessment, trying supported tasks, reporting problems, or reviewing how requests are handled. Before participation, we would discuss scope, access, support responsibilities, information handling, and pilot terms.

Devices, services, and host arrangements depend on readiness and funding. Expressing interest does not reserve a free device or promise income. The proposed host placement program is described on the Solutions page.
